PTI will bring 10 million workers in Peshawar rally: CM Gandapur

Date:

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has claimed that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf will bring 10 million workers during a rally in Peshawar on September 27.

Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s emotional announcement has become a headache for the party leadership as PTI core and political committee have assigned special tasks to members of the National and Provincial Assembly.

The leadership has instructed each member of the National Assembly to bring 1,000 workers, while each member of the provincial assembly should bring 500. If the members of the assembly meet the target, 90,000 workers will be able to gather.

The instructions have also been issued to ticket holders and party leaders to bring as many people as possible to the rally. The party leadership has instructed Punjab leaders and ticket holders to bring at least 100 workers each.

The sources said Provincial President Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Junaid Akbar has expressed displeasure with Ali Amin Gandapur’s emotional statements. He said that Ali Amin should claim what he can and should not put the leadership and workers to the test.
