ISLAMABAD (Web Desk): Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Senator Ishaq Dar will leave for Qatar.
According to diplomatic sources, Ishaq Dar will attend an important meeting of foreign ministers of Islamic and Arab countries in Doha, Qatar, which will be held tomorrow.
The meeting will review the situation after the recent Israeli attacks on Qatar.
The Deputy Prime Minister will announce full solidarity and support with Qatar in his address.
The meeting will strongly condemn the recent Israeli attacks on Qatar.
The foreign ministers of Muslim and Arab countries will consider adopting a joint strategy against Israeli aggression in the meeting.
The ongoing Israeli and Zionist barbarity on Gaza will also be discussed in the meeting.
Dar, Egyptian FM condemn Israeli strikes
Ishaq Dar on Saturday received a phone call from Egypt’s Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty.
“Both leaders strongly condemned the Israeli unprovoked illegal strikes on Doha and discussed the modalities and details of the forthcoming OIC Council of Foreign Ministers in Doha, scheduled for Sunday, 14 September,” Foreign Office Spokesperson said in a press release issued in Islamabad.
